My parents have always told me I have the potential to do
anything I put my mind to. This lesson has stuck with me throughout my whole
life and has helped me to work hard at everything I do and to strive for
greatness. It has become one of the main principles in my life. Another lesson
my parents taught me was to be selfless and help others. Biomedical engineering
is a very challenging and competitive field. It is also a field in which I have
the ability to help make other’s lives more comfortable. This sect of
engineering combines both of the principles my parents have taught me to make a
career in which I feel I am a perfect fit.
